Mr James Baggie Bio is the current Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), where he is spearheading a comprehensive reform of the country’s long-dormant National Road Safety Policy. Mr Bio brings to his role a strong academic foundation coupled with a wealth of experience in public service. He holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Accounting and Finance from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland (2019–2020). He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Sierra Leone.
Under his leadership, the SLRSA is pursuing a strategic transformation aimed at modernising road safety governance, promoting sustainable transport practices, and fostering cross-sectoral collaboration to support national development objectives.
