Ambassador (Rtd) Colonel Alhaji Fanday Turay Esq. serves as the Minister of Transport and Aviation, where he leads strategic initiatives to modernize and expand Sierra Leone’s transport infrastructure and services. A seasoned public servant and legal professional, he brings a wealth of experience in leadership, diplomacy, and governance.
Minister Turay holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone. His leadership of the Ministry focuses on policy reform, infrastructure development, and enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the country’s transport systems.
