National protected Area Authority

Mr. Thomas Faiya Kamara serves as the Executive Director of the National Protected Area Authority (NPAA) in Sierra Leone, where he leads efforts to conserve biodiversity, manage forest reserves, and promote sustainable environmental practices across the country.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and brings to his role a strong foundation in ecological preservation, environmental governance, and natural resource management. Under his leadership, the NPAA continues to strengthen conservation initiatives and enforce environmental regulations in alignment with national and global sustainability goals.
