Mrs. Jeneba J. Bangura serves as the Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority (NRA) of Sierra Leone. She previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance I, bringing a wealth of experience in public financial management and international best practices.

Prior to her national appointments, Mrs. Bangura worked with the State Comptroller’s Office of New York and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where she gained extensive expertise in fiscal oversight and large-scale financial operations. She currently serves as Vice President of the African Women in Tax Network (AWITN), championing gender-responsive tax policies across the continent.

Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to fiscal transparency, institutional reform, and inclusive economic governance.
