Profile
Dr. Turad Senesie serves as the Minister of Lands, Housing, and Country Planning in the Republic of Sierra Leone. In this role, he provides strategic leadership in the formulation and implementation of land governance, housing policy, and urban planning reforms aligned with national development priorities.
Prior to his ministerial appointment, Dr. Senesie served as the Deputy Minister of Technical and Higher Education, where he contributed significantly to education sector reforms and institutional development. He brings a strong interdisciplinary background and a deep understanding of socio-economic development, policy, and planning.
Dr. Senesie holds a PhD in Peace and Development Studies from Njala University, a Master of Science in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Sierra Leone. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (Economics) from the University of Sierra Leone.
